Hi, I'm Radhi :)

I am a screenwriter, animator and educator with a degree in Educommunication from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (USP), and specialized in script and creative writing from the Escuela Internacional de Cine e TV de San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) Cuba .

My Story

I graduated from the animation course at the NGO Instituto Criar de TV Cinema e Novas Mídias, and since then I have worked in the field as an animator, technician, and writer. As a screenwriter, I had the pleasure of being part of the team for animation and live-action projects aimed at children, such as “Quintal da Cultura” (TV Cultura), “Mundo Ripilica” (Marisol), and “Mytikah Explora!” (Oz Produtora). I also have some award-winning personal projects, like the short film script “Peripatético”, which won the Best Screenplay award at the Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro in 2017.

My first short film as a director, “Aurora, The Street That Wanted to Be a River”, supported by the SPCine Stories from the Neighborhoods Call, has already participated in over 120 festivals and showcases worldwide, accumulating more than 20 awards and honorable mentions, including the Canal Brasil Award for Best Short Film at CinePE 2021.
